I WANT to thank the electorate across Burton and Uttoxeter for their support throughout the election campaign. It has been a privilege to meet so many people across Burton and Uttoxeter. Whilst I am, of course, disappointed not to have been elected as the Labour MP for Burton, I am incredibly proud of my party. I want to assure people the Labour Party will continue to campaign for working people and the most vulnerable.
