One of the most exciting developments on the London jazz scene in recent years has been the emergence of the LOOP Collective. Formed in 2005 by a large group of musicians who had been studying and playing together for many years. Members of the collective include Alcyona Mick, James Allsop, Jim Hart, Robbie Robson, Robin Finker, Tom Challenger, Phil Donkin, Dave Manington, Mark Hanslip, Ivo Neame and Tim Giles, and has already generated a number of outstanding bands among them Blink, Outhouse, Gemini and Fraud.
