I REFER to Dave Orford's letter (Friday, October 9) "MP takes action to win my vote". Let me start by asking "What's so special about an MP taking "action"? After all, he is only doing his job.
In his closing paragraph, he says "he gets my vote every time". To cut a long story short, the MP in question was the Tory MP Patrick McLoughlin, who claimed thousands of pounds of tax-payers' money on his expenses for four years, for the extensive maintenance of this country home.See the full content of this document
