I WAS very interested to read the article in Bygones on August 5 about Mr Bates' blacksmith forge at Breadsall and the Cosy Corner Cafe.
I lived at Breadsall Hill Top and walked to the village school over the fields and down a path which led to the forge, which was at the bottom of Station Road in the village centre.See the full content of this document
