More than 1,000 youngsters found out what was in vogue with the Vikings when they went along to an event run by Derby Museum and Art Gallery.

The venue in The Strand played host to Viking Vogue, which gave children the opportunity to create their own Viking apparel, including swords, helmets and jewellery.
