SEVENTEEN jobs have gone after a Derby electricians' firm was hit by the collapse of social housing maintenance company Connaught. The industry giant went into administration in 2010 and was unable to pay the bills it owed to Pride Park's B.C. Harper.

Administrators have now confirmed that the electricians closed down before Christmas last month.
