TOYOTA is planning a return to the sports car market and today we reveal a racy new model that could be on sale here within a couple of years, writes Robert Maddox.

The FT-86, seen right and below, will be breaking cover for the first time at the Tokyo Motor Show later this month. It is described by Toyota as a concept car but I reckon that there is little doubt that it will be put into production.
