Summary
For those of us who ride or live and work on the Dale Road between Spondon and Dale Abbey, the bad news is that as a survey revealed only 15% of drivers were speeding we cannot have a speed camera. This 15% does mean that if you are riding your horse or bike down the Dale Road, it is possible that for every 50 cars that pass you around seven will be speeding!
The good news is that Derbyshire Constabulary has responsibility for speed reduction at this location - they will be visiting to carry out speed enforcement.See the full content of this document
