I WAS shocked to read that Michael Peach had got the time to write a complaints letter to the hospital and the Derby Telegraph when his wife had just had a baby "New dad in car parking row" (Derby Telegraph, March 26).

He should be grateful the hospital was there and able to provide the care needed to bring his daughter into this world safely. As for the charges, it was only Pounds 7.50 - a small price to pay for the excellent service and care received.
