Summary
A FIVE-MILE stretch of the M1 was shut for 12 hours to allow work on a new bridge to be carried out.
The motorway was closed between junction 25 at Sandiacre and junction 26 at Awsworth while bridge beams were lifted into place by two large cranes. It shut at 9pm on Saturday and reopened shortly before 9am yesterday.See the full content of this document
