A NEW fleet of salt gritters will be out on patrol today to prepare for the coming winter. The team of 43 vehicles will be out on roads across the East Midlands, including major roads in Derbyshire, testing equipment ready for the colder months.
Drivers will also be checking communications equipment to ensure that motorists are directed by accurate weather forecasting and can be contacted directly if they need to change or resalt a route.See the full content of this document
