Summary
WHEN I showed my elder brother, Trevor, the recent article about the wartime shell found by landscapers in a garden in Mayfield Road, Chaddesden, he recalled the following story. During the war, a bungalow in that road was severely damaged and later demolished. At the time, it was thought to have been hit by an unexploded bomb.
