Rockin' 'N' Rollin' at Church Hall

Summary


Reading about Derby City Church and church hall possibly being turned into a Wetherspoon's pub in the Telegraph last week (August 13) reminded me of when I used to go there in 1957 - the Teddy Boy rock 'n' roll era.

There were chairs all round the sides of the hall and the regular band used to be Syd Arkell, I believe.
