Range of Goods to Help Children Arrive in Central America

Summary

FORTY mattresses from the former Derbyshire Royal Infirmary and four industrialsized cookers are among donated items that have arrived in Central America. More than 150 volunteers packed the items in West Hallam in March and now the ship taking them has docked in Honduras, where they will help about 8,000 children.

This is the 36th year items such as food, clothes, shoes and medicines have been shipped to the second poorest country in Central America by Derby charity Children of Honduras Trust.
