I READ with some amusement the recent letter by Barrie Siddons about three plays for a shilling on the jukebox in his local in the late 60s.
At that time, I was in my early 20s and my local was the Bull and Bush on the Mackworth Estate. The prices on the jukebox were similar, one play for 6d and three for a shilling but with a twist.See the full content of this document
