CHRIS Stone's letter about the anti-war and anti-racist views I write about is rather simplistic (Letters, September 22).

What is "horrible" and "poisoned", to quote Mr Stone, is not the country we live in but the sad and prejudiced beliefs of a small but very vocal section of our society.
