A TORY Derbyshire county councillor was among more than 70 local government politicians who signed a letter criticising Gordon Brown's plans to bring in a National Care Service.

Along with colleagues, Charles Jones, Derbyshire cabinet member for adult care, claimed the policy had "weaknesses" and had not been properly costed.
