Ann Hudson falls into the common trap of equating reduced congestion during school holidays with "parents taking their little ones to school in cars" (Evening Telegraph, June 4).
While there are some people taking special journeys for this reason (often caused by the closure of local schools) as most families need two earners to keep the Government's spend and waste machine topped up with taxes, by definition many, if not most, parents are merely dropping their kids off on their way to work.
