TWO special constables from Belper, both IT workers, are helping to increase police patrols around Derbyshire.

Samuel Barton, 22, and 24-year-old Alexander Cannon were sworn in along with 19 other volunteers at Derbyshire police's headquarters. Mr Barton works in information technology after getting a degree from the University of Derby.
