A 24-YEAR-OLD accused of murder allegedly handed himself into police and admitted the killing.

Terry Higgins is said to have approached officers on April 29, the day of the Royal Wedding, and told them: "I've just killed a woman". But Higgins now denies the murder of Catherine Leighton, who was found dead with her throat slit at her flat in Merrill Way, Allenton.
