JOHN Morris was still looking at the long-term gain rather than the short-term pain after Derbyshire missed out on victory over Northants yesterday. Derbyshire were frustrated by late Northants resistance on the final day of their Championship match yesterday but the head of cricket said he could find no fault with what he saw from his side over the course of the contest.
