IT'S been a case of playing catch-up for Charlie Moore at Uttoxeter.
He returned as clerk of the course at the end of January, replacing Keith Ottesen who moved to Chepstow Racecourse, and Moore has since been battling with the elements ahead of Uttoxeter's big day tomorrow, the Midlands Grand National. "It's all down to nature. You can do your best to combat nature but you can never beat it," said Moore, who had previous stints at Uttoxeter as clerk of the course and general manager.See the full content of this document
