The band comprises Andre Preview (bass/vocals), Jason Morton (drums/vocals) and Anton Goldapples (guitar/lead vocals). They claim that "the origins of The Modest are shrouded in the shady mists of time. Some say that after their last big job together, Andre and Anton had to go away for a while, leaving Jason to lie low. A chance meeting at the select gentlemen's drinking club Lucky Jim's led to the formation of The Modest, a band initially based on their love of money.
