IT is with great sadness I hear of the death of former councillor Pat Hill. She was a lovely woman and a good friend. As a fellow councillor, back in the late 1990s, representing the Mickleover/ Abbey end of the city she worked tirelessly and unselfishly for all our constituents. She was a dedicated campaigner and continually strove to improve the lives of city people and the social services department. Even after retiring as a councillor she continued to serve in public life.
I was privileged to know her and like many will miss her wisdom and good humour. Derby will miss was one of those achievers that got things done but rarely took the credit.See the full content of this document
