A POPULAR PE teacher who taught in schools in the city and county has died.
Steve Abrahams, 58, passed away on Sunday at the Royal Derby Hospital after a long illness. As well as teaching PE, he was also well known in the city for coaching pub football teams. Mr Abrahams, who was known as Azo to his friends, started teaching PE in 1976 at Allenton School, which later became Merrill College after merging with Shelton Lock Secondary School.See the full content of this document
