THE two sides that defeated Derbyshire Premier Cricket League champions Ockbrook & Borrowash in the last two weeks produced another close contest, with Lullington Park finishing 15 runs short in an exciting run chase with two wickets left.

Rain delayed the start by 40 minutes, reducing the game to 44 overs per side, and Montcin Hodge and James Ede started watchfully against tight seam bowling after Quarndon were put in to bat first.
