A Few weeks ago, Councillor Dhamrait congratulated Derby's taxi licensing department for successfully prosecuting two private- hire drivers who were illegally posing as hackney drivers (Evening Telegraph, February 28), thus putting the general public at risk of extortionate fares, indecent assaults, etc.
