AFTER the "No" vote in the first Irish referendum, you published my letter congratulating the Irish people.
Why did the Irish people change their vote on the Lisbon treaty, which is totally unchanged from the original document they rejected? They have fallen for the normal EU trick: "If you don't get the answer that you want first time, keep asking the same question until you do." It also appears ironic to me that the Irish fought hard and long to free their nation from the British, and then surrender their independence to a non-democratic consortium of countries where their views will be overridden and ignored.See the full content of this document
