Commercial Property Special SINCE the financial crisis, the commercial property market in Derby and the wider East Midlands has undergone significant change. So, have we reached the bottom of the market and is now a suitable time to invest? Put simply, land within our country is finite and whatever happens in the short-term, the population is growing and companies will continue to trade, develop and adapt to markets demands and conditions.

It is our view that in the long term, commercial land and property compares favourably to other investment vehicles. One such investment opportunity in Ilkeston has an approximate 8.5-years unexpired term with return on capital likely to be between 8.5% and 9%.
