HOSPITAL chiefs say they are proud of the low number of patients infected by superbugs.
Latest Government statistics show Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was one of 13 nationally to have at least four cases of the infection MSSA in January. The bacteria, which is not to be confused with the difficult-to-treat infection MRSA, lives harmlessly on human skin but can be harmful if it enters the bloodstream.See the full content of this document
