HILCOTE United lifted the first trophy of the season, beating Shirland MW 4-2 during extra time in the Manor Pharmacy Shield.

Steve Boot scored both goals for Shirland with Daniel Noakes (2), Daniel Ryan and Ryan Pepper netting for the winners. In the league, Darley Dale Lions' substitute Aaron O'Neill netted a brace against Riddings Rovers, as his side ran out 3-2 winners.
