I WRITE in response to the soapbox article by Mike Lake (Why are some schools still promoting Christianity over all other beliefs?, March 16).

I agree with his sentiments that Christianity should not be imposed upon people. The problem that we have in our society is that most people have no concept of the Christian message. This maybe because it's taught in schools by those who themselves have no faith or the syllabus prevents the real meaning of faith from being presented.
