A Top performance from Derby AC's Jon Gilby saw him finish 13th from a field of more than 1,200 in the National Cross Country Championships at Alton Towers.

The 28-year-old Derby AC runner pulled out a fine run to complete the 6.22-mile course in 33mins 11secs, only seven seconds off a top- 10 place.
