STUNNED residents said they felt completely in the dark as plans to build a gasfired power station in Burton were made public. More than 120 people last night attended an exhibition in Branston of Centrum Power's proposals to construct the Pounds 500m facility at Centrum West, alongside the A38.
Bosses behind the project said the station would generate enough electricity to supply 1.5 million homes and, during construction, could create up to 800 jobs.See the full content of this document
