Further to the item by Barrie Siddons regarding Ticklecock Fair, I can add a little more information passed down to me by my mother who died, aged 90, last year.
The fair was originally sited at Kilburn Toll Bar on a small parcel of land now occupied by a communications company. This land was on the B6179, just short of the traffic lights coming south, opposite the Geoff Cox motor caravan centre.See the full content of this document
