A 28-YEAR-OLD man has been rushed into hospital for lifesaving surgery, days after being attacked with a pool cue outside a Derby hotel.

The man, from Alvaston, suffered an arterial bleed - or a haemorrhage on his lip - on Monday night and lost nearly three litres of blood.
