What a contradictory letter from D. Sparkes, Dwain deserves another chance (Opinion, July 30). He states that Dwain Chambers is the fastest athlete in the country with or without drugs. In that case, why did Dwain take drugs? The offence rightly resulted in a lifetime Olympic ban and thus is a warning to all athletes.
By the same token all drunken drivers should be banned from driving for life. They could be killers. Dwain was no threat to any individual.See the full content of this document
