DERBY Live shows continued to pull in good audiences in 2011, despite the country's economic woes.
"It was quite a difficult year for presented work mainly because of the financial situation everyone is in," admits programme manager Bob Rushton. "The recession that supposedly hit some time ago has really hit all venues and promoters up and down the country over the last 12 months. It has had an effect on all genres, even the comedy bankers. Shows have still done well but it has taken a lot of work to sustain audiences.See the full content of this document
