NEIGHBOURHOOD boards in Derby have spent cash on providing packs to help children cycle to school safely. There are 17 boards in the city and each receives Pounds 36,000 from Derby City Council which they can spend on priorities in their areas, once agreed with residents.

Six of the boards have decided to fund the cycle packs together with the road safety and Travelwise teams.
