AT a ward councillor's surgery, I recently asked Allestree councillor Roy Webb why he wanted to remove bus lanes in the area.
He gave several reasons; firstly, the university was against the bus lanes, secondly, bus drivers didn't like them, and thirdly, even if the lanes were removed, the parking restrictions on Kedleston Road would be retained, so the traffic would flow well enough.See the full content of this document
