The Evening Telegraph's revelation (July 28) about council officers not telling councillors about the Alvaston bus lane trials comes as no surprise.
In July 2006, Derby City Council asked Kedleston Road residents to "have their say" on a proposed bus lane. That was fine, except that 15 months before the consultation, officers had already agreed the bus lanes.See the full content of this document
