I SHOULD like to say how much I appreciated the Derby Telegraph's editorial comment on Derbyshire Cricket and the treatment of Don Amott, as chairman "Why we hope Don will not walk away from Derbys" on the back page on March 23.
The Telegraph showed a deep understanding of the benefits the chairman brought to county cricket in Derby and it was heartening to see such positive journalism giving suggestions and appreciation for Don Amott.
