CHRIS Porter has been challenged to earn himself a new contract at Derby County.

Porter marked his first Championship start of the season with both goals in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Preston North End at Deepdale. He was due to make his second start in three days in the game against Millwall at Pride Park today with Nigel Clough wanting to see more from the striker he signed from Motherwell two years ago.
