Ashley Mark SMITH, 21, of Rowland Street, Allenton, fined pounds242 with pounds300 compensation, pounds60 costs and pounds15 victim surcharge and banned from driving for 12 months for failing to give a name and address at the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident to the police within 24 hours on February 8. No separate penalties were imposed for failing to stop at the scene of an accident and driving without a licence and insurance on the same date.
John ANDREWS, 27, of Queen Street, Langley Mill, given a community order until September 2, 2009, and two months' curfew and ordered to pay pounds60 costs for possessing cannabis, a Class C controlled drug, on July 25 and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour on the same date.
