PUPILS at a Derbyshire special school will have lots of new equipment in September thanks to generous shoppers. A huge collection of shopping vouchers has enabled Alfreton Park Community Special School to order camcorders, sensory bags, magnifiers, heart- rate monitors, swimming pool items and a variety of balls for sports and play times.
Friends, parents, pupils and the local community sent their Tesco and Sainsbury's vouchers to the school. It resulted in 15,806 vouchers being collected from Tesco and 8,395 from Sainsbury's.
