A CAMPAIGN group battling for historic Elvaston Castle to be a tourist attraction wants the public to be given the chance to say if they also think it is a good idea.

Councillors decided in 2001 that they needed to offload the former stately home because Derbyshire County Council could not afford to pay for its upkeep.
