DERBY County defender Jake Buxton will undergo more surgery today as he looks to leave behind the injury problems which have kept him out of first-team action for seven months. "Jake's desperate to be fit again - he's not used to being injured," said Rams manager Nigel Clough, who signed the player on a free transfer from Burton Albion in 2009.

Buxton made 24 appearances in his first season with the Rams but he was hindered by groin and stomach problems.
