ARRIVA has defended its drivers after residents complained they often drove on the wrong side of an Alvaston road.

The bus company said "inconsiderate" motorists who parked too close to pedestrian refuges in the road were forcing its drivers to veer on to the opposite side in Keldholme Lane.
