A Blockbuster with a mission to save the planet and chastise America for its use-it-up-wear-it-out mentality towards the environment deserves a merit badge simply for effort.Writer- director Roland Emmerich (whose 10,000BC can currently be seen in cinemas) probably gets away with it because of his European origins and because he has made a mint for Hollywood with his previous movies.
A warning about the potentially catastrophic effects of global warming, it's a film with its heart in the right place even if we can only award it a CSE in science.See the full content of this document
