Two fire crews were tackling a blaze involving 20 tonnes of hay and 80 tonnes of straw in Alfreton today.
The fire broke out at a farm in Park Lane, Westhouses, at around 3.30am. Police closed the road to enable the fire crews to reach the fire and the farmer assisted the fire service by moving unburnt straw to create a fire break.See the full content of this document
